Effortless Organization

Stop letting important info die in your camera roll. Snaplater uses on-device AI OCR to turn mobile captures into actionable desktop tasks.

Desktop is currently in Alpha. Help us build it.

Is your "Screenshot Graveyard" growing?

You snap a Slack message, a tweet, or a design inspiration thinking, "I'll deal with this later." But "later" never comes. Your photos get buried, and ideas get lost.

Endless Scrolling

Hunting through hundreds of screenshots to find that one important note.

Wasted Time

Manually typing out text from images or emailing screenshots to yourself.

Lost Ideas

Brilliant insights and action items forgotten in your camera roll.

Capture on Mobile.
Execute on Desktop.

Three simple steps to transform your screenshot chaos into organized productivity.

Step 1 screenshot capture
1

Snap Anything

Take a screenshot on your phone. That's it. No special app needed for capturing—just use your phone's native screenshot function.

2

AI Does the Work

Snaplater instantly analyzes text (Japanese/English/Chinese) with on-device OCR. When you request AI tag suggestions, the OCR text (not the raw screenshot) is securely sent to Snaplater's cloud service for processing, so you always know what leaves your device.

Step 2 AI processing
Step 3 desktop dashboard

Ready on Your Desk

The desktop dashboard is currently in private alpha with server sync and link-code pairing. Join the waitlist to help us test the upcoming cross-device workflow.

Built for Speed and Privacy.

Designed with the principles that matter most to power users and privacy-conscious professionals.

Local OCR + Secure Cloud AI

Text recognition runs on your device for speed and privacy. When you opt into AI tagging, we send only the extracted text (never raw images) to our secured server for additional insights.

Link-Code Sync (In Development)

We're building a link-code flow so your phone captures can sync to the desktop app via server. Early testers are helping us validate the handoff experience.

Desktop-First Focus (Alpha)

Mobile is for capturing. Desktop is for doing. Our desktop client is in active development—join the alpha waitlist to shape how tasks feel on a full keyboard setup.

Why I built Snaplater

A note from the maker

“As a developer, I was frustrated with emailing screenshots to myself. I wanted a tool that respected my workflow and didn't rely on cloudy servers for simple text recognition. I'm building Snaplater as an indie hacker. Your feedback shapes the product.”
